You take the quiz
Ten short questions about your situation — designed to take about 90 seconds. We ask about your income type, business activity, investments, what you want from an accountant, how you like to work, what software you already use, and the kind of relationship you're after.
The questions branch based on your earlier answers, so a salaried employee won't be asked about their BAS, and someone who already has an accountant gets a different set of follow-up questions than someone starting fresh. There are no trick questions and nothing is sold.
We match you on type and fit
Behind the quiz is a scoring engine that matches you to one of five accountant profiles: simple tax return, sole trader, small business, property investor, or complex wealth (SMSF, trusts, business sale).
But we don't stop at type. We also factor in fit — how you want to communicate, what software you use, and what you actually want an accountant to do for you. The right accountant for a Townsville tradie running a one-man show is genuinely different from the one who handles a property portfolio with three trusts. Most Australians end up with whichever accountant their friend recommended — which is often a poor fit. We fix that.

Every accountant we refer is a registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) and is qualified through CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ, or the Institute of Public Accountants.
You decide
Talk to them. Get a quote. Ask whatever you want. If they're a good fit, hire them — at the regular rate they'd charge anyone. We don't add fees to your bill, ever.
If they're not a fit, tell us and we'll match you with someone else, or simply walk away. There's no obligation either way.
How does this site make money?
Honest answer: accountants pay us a referral fee for the leads we send them. That's the entire model.
It works because good accountants spend a fortune on advertising trying to find clients like you, and most of that advertising is wasted on people who aren't a good match. We solve both ends of the problem — better matches for you, lower wasted spend for them.
You never pay us anything. Your accountant doesn't pad their fee to cover us. We're paid the same amount regardless of how much you eventually pay the accountant — no commission, no kickback, no incentive to push you toward a more expensive option. The economics simply replace what accountants would otherwise spend on Google Ads.
